MEAP data on district Web page

Current data from the state-mandated Michigan Educational Assessment Program, or MEAP, tests has been posted on the Ann Arbor school district Web page. Visit the “About AAPS” link on the district’s home page or click here.

MEAP tests are administered in October to students in grades 3-9.  All students in grades 3-8 take the Reading and Mathematics tests. In addition, students in grades 5 and 8 take the Science test and students in grades 6 and 9 take the Social Studies test. The Writing test was temporarily eliminated for the 2009-10 school year, but will be added back in for grades 4 and 7 in 2010-11.

Detailed information about the MEAP tests, including sample tests and the list of the state’s Grade Level Content Expectations, is available on the Michigan Department of Education Web page.
