AAPS graduate Jessica Francis Kane returns to Ann Arbor to read latest collection of short stories

Jessica Francis Kane will be reading from her brand new collection of short stories, “This Close,” March 28 at 7 p.m. at Nicola’s Books. Kane attended Burns Park, Tappan and Pioneer. Her newest book is receiving a tremendous amount of praise (see this review from NPR).

After graduating from Yale, Kane worked in publishing in New York City and Washington, D.C. Her stories have been published in many places, including McSweeney’s, Virginia Quarterly Review, The Missouri Review, The Yale Review, A Public Space, Narrative and Granta. 

Kane lives in New York City with her husband and two children. “This Close,” just released on March 5, is published by Graywolf Press.
