District names new Lawton principal

Shannon BlickThe new principal of Lawton Elementary will be Shannon Blick. Her first day with AAPS is Monday, Sept. 16.

Blick is currently the principal of Wildwood Elementary in the Wayne-Westland Community Schools, where she has served for nine years as a teacher and building principal.

Blick has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University and a Master’s in Elementary Reading from Walden University. She also holds her Ed. Specialist in Educational Leadership from EMU.
