It’s not every day you’re greeted at the door by a well-behaved bald eagle. Such was the case Tuesday morning as a group of Singapore educators visited Skyline High School during their 11-day visit to Ann Arbor. The 16 are part of an exchange program sponsored by Toyota that focuses on science, technology, engineering, arts and math.
There were lots of “oohs” and “ahhs” as Principal Cory McElmeel led the tour through the light-filled school, which opened in 2008.
The Singapore group
will return to Pioneer High School on Wednesday for final discussions and goodbyes. The group flies home on Thursday.
This was an article specific to the Skyline visit. They did visit the other high schools as well over their 10 day visit.
