Y-A-Y! Pittsfield Young 5s celebrate learning their ABCs with a parade throughout the school

The goal was met: Learn the letters by December

The students in Beth Ballbach’s Young 5’s class at Pittsfield Elementary have something to celebrate – they recently learned all their ABCs! 👏 To mark this exciting milestone, the class held an ABC parade around the school, proudly showing off their alphabet hats and T-shirts.

Ballbach explained that Pittsfield uses the Fundations Phonics curriculum, and by early December, her class has learned the names and sounds of all the letters. As the Young 5s entered their classrooms, Pittsfield staff extended congratulations for learning their letters.
