Video: Opening day program at Eberwhite is a cherished tradition

Eberwhite Elementary kicked off the new academic year last week with a cherished tradition. The opening ceremony, initiated years ago by music teacher Jeffrey Willets, unfolded on the school’s front steps and featured the welcoming of kindergarteners, a flag-raising, and musical performances by fifth graders.

Willets had just a few minutes to rehearse with the fifth graders before presenting the program before the families gathered in front of the school.

Well done, all!
