Reserved seats go on sale Feb. 5

The Huron Players are proud to present “RENT,” Jonathan Larson’s powerful musical about young artists fighting to make their mark in New York City’s East Village. Set in 1989, this Tony Award-winning show follows nine interweaving stories during a time when the city was grappling with a devastating health crisis.
Based on Puccini’s opera “La Bohème,” “RENT” tells the story of young people living on society’s margins—artists, musicians, filmmakers, and dreamers. Through compelling music and storytelling, the show explores how these characters find their voices and build a community despite overwhelming challenges.
The Huron Players will present five performances over three days:
- Friday, February 21 at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, February 22 at 2 p.m. and again at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, February 23 at 2 p.m. and again at 7 p.m.
