Tappan teachers welcomed back to the building; now they prepare to welcome back students on Monday

By Jo Mathis/AAPS District News Editor

Middle school teachers throughout the district returned to their buildings today to prepare for the arrival of students on Monday.

At Tappan Middle School, teachers’ arrival was celebrated with balloons, breakfast, and a raffle arranged by administrators and office professionals.

Tappan Middle School Support Administrator Terra Webster said she and others simply wanted to show the Tappan staff how much they are appreciated.

“It’s just our way of saying thank you for an amazing job, still loving teaching our students and say welcome back to the building,” said Webster, who is also the district’s Section 504 administrator.

Middle and high school students who have chosen hybrid in-person learning will return to their buildings on Monday. For more information, click here.
