Pioneer swim coach Dennis Hill was honored with a celebration of his career on Thursday night, comprising 1,000 wins and 31 state titles over 45 years. He sent out this thank-you today:
It was a great surprise to see all the people from 44 years of coaching at Pioneer. Thanks so much for all the great memories and great swimmers at Pioneer. It’s not the 1000 wins but the hard working people who contributed to the success of the Pioneer Swim/Dive program. To the parents, your kids continue to make Liz (Hill) and I look really good. It is really an honor to help watch your kids grow into fantastic adults. Thanks once again.
