Seaweed, anyone? Middle school students taste-test Ramen Noodle Bowls with nutritious toppings at Chartwells’ Student Choice Event

Chartwells offers an alternative to the one-size-fits-all approach to cafeteria food

Students at Forsythe Middle School on Wednesday were invited to taste-test a restaurant-inspired Ramen Noodle Bowl station with a choice of nutritious, tasty toppings. (See video above.)

Meanwhile, at Pioneer High School and Slauson Middle School, students were treated to free samples of Butternut Squash Macaroni and Cheese and encouraged to take the recipe home. (See video below.)

These Discovery Kitchen and Student Choice events are held periodically throughout the district, offering hungry students an alternative to the one-size-fits-all approach to cafeteria food.
