Pioneer senior Charlie Duke wins FutureStars 2022

The annual showcase of talent was held at the University of Michigan Power Center

Pioneer senior Charlie Duke captured first place in the FutureStars 2022 show Feb. 26 at the University of Michigan’s Power Center.

Charlie sang “Your Man” written by Chris Stapleton and Chris DuBois and recorded in 2005 by country artist Josh Turner.

Finalists included:

Senior Suri Gaiana singing “Misery Business” (Paramore)

Senior Cali Hill singing “Think” (Aretha Franklin)

Senior Helena Kremer singing “Easy on Me” (Adele)

Senior Zoe Resendez singing “Sunday Kind of Love” (Etta James)
