New Allen Elementary theater troupe to perform `Schoolhouse Rock Jr., Live!’ this weekend

AllenKidsAct—a new theatre troupe for Allen’s 1st-5th graders—will perform for the first time this weekend, giving students the chance to participate in a Broadway-style musical and learn all the steps that go into production.

The troupe’s first production—Schoolhouse Rock, Jr. Live!—will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 9, and at 1 and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 10. Tickets are $5.
