King Elementary students delighted by Maples Elementary Chorus and Drummers Performance

King Elementary students were treated to a performance by the Maples Chorus and Maples Drummers from Maples Elementary of Dearborn Public Schools recently. Their visit was made possible through a grant from the Spencer Steiff Music Student Support Grant. 

King vocal music teacher Kristin Berger says .the students absolutely loved the drumming and were enthralled during the singing. “The Maples Chorus told stories through their singing that made the children in the audience laugh as well as experience sadness” she said, “and the Maples Drummers even brought King students up to learn how to play the drums.”
