Ann Arbor Rec & Ed’s School Age Child Care program at Dicken Elementary this week hosted University of Michigan pharmacy students from “Operation Self Care” and “Operation Heart,” who gave a hands-on presentation to promote proper hand sanitation and healthy lifestyle choices.

Child care students had the opportunity to learn about how germs spread, use a heart pump model, learn how to properly wash their hands, review myths and facts about hand sanitation and much more.

Dicken students thanked the group with a rousing shout and a (freshly sanitized!) hand clap.
