Community High School’s Dance Body program will present their 33rd annual Spring Concert on Friday, May 25, starting at 7 p.m. at Tappan Middle School (2251 E. Stadium Blvd.)
The concert will feature dances choreographed and performed by high school students from across the school district. Company director Michelle Briscoewill debut her work, “some other new beginnings end.” The student choreographers range from freshmen to seniors and each one brings a unique style and creativity to the group. A variety of dance styles will be represented: jazz, contemporary, hip-hop and everything in between.
Flowers will be available for purchase in the lobby for $5. Concession and refreshments such as pop, juice, chips, candy, and baked goods will also be sold for $1 each. All of the proceeds will go to support the Dance Body program.
Tickets are $5 for students and seniors, $8 for adults. The show will be free for 8th graders with a current school ID and children under 5. Tickets will be sold at the door.
