Ann Arbor Public Schools budget scenarios

Following are possible effects to The Ann Arbor Public Schools budget, depending on action taken by the state legislature when adopting the School Aid Budget for 2010-11. These projections do not include planned or possible reductions as outlined in the proposed budget documents:
No additional state cuts  (as proposed in the Governor’s 2011 budget):
Projected revenue: $185.6 million
Projected expenditure: $200.37 million
Projected deficit: ($14.77 million)

Additional $200 per pupil cut:
Projected revenue:  $182.31 million
Projected expenditure: $200.37 million
Projected deficit: ($18.06 million)

Additional $300 per pupil cut:
Projected revenue: $180.7 million
Projected expenditure: $200.37 million
Projected deficit: ($19.67 million)
