‘Communicator’ a finalist in national journalism contest

Student journalists at Community High School head for Washington, D.C. this month to accept finalist honors in the Newspaper Pacemaker contest, known as the “Pulitzer Prize of student journalism.” The Ann Arbor school is one of seven in the country to receive the honor. Young students work to enhance paths at Eberwhite Woods

Eberwhite Elementary School students, parents and members of the community took part in the community’s annual “Wood Chip Day” on Oct. 16, spreading mulch on paths in the woods. The annual activity helps keep the woods walkable for the many people who use it throughout the year.
