AAPS students shine at ACS U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad in Huron Valley Region

Ann Arbor Public Schools had remarkable success in the U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad (USNCO) local exam in March at Eastern Michigan University.

The top-scoring students from the local exam were nominated for the national examination in mid-April. AAPS students achieved outstanding results in the local exam conducted by the Huron Valley Local Section, which includes Washtenaw County high schools in Michigan. Pierce Cai (Huron High School) ranks first with the highest score, and both Sounak Debnath (Huron High School) and Sherry Dong (Skyline High School) tied for the second-highest overall score.

Congratulations to all!
