Slauson raises money for Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor during Spirit Week

As Slauson students and staff celebrated spirit week, they also made sure they made a difference during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Slauson had a Pink-Out last Wednesday to show support for members of our community impacted by cancer.

While students and staff were encouraged to wear pink, special t-shirts were sold with proceeds donated to the Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor. The t-shirt sales raised $1600 and Slauson staff plan to make the Pink Out fundraiser an annual event to honor all students and staff who have loved ones impacted by breast cancer.
