Walk & Roll to School Day was a great way to start a sunny October morning
Students at Carpenter, Lawton, Abbot, and Wines walked and rolled to school this morning, with families and buses dropping students off a few blocks away so they could finish the journey on foot. Staff greeted students along the way and joined them for the rest of the trip.
Wines will hold two more Walk & Roll days on October 16 and October 23, and Thurston will join in later this month.
The photos above and immediately below capture this morning’s arrivals at Lawton. Thanks to all the students, families, and staff who helped make the morning fun and active!
