AAPS students shine on the national stage

Every student returned from the Academic Games Leagues of America with at least one medal

Sixty AAPS students in grades 5-12 competed in the Academic Games Leagues of America National Tournament in Charlotte, N.C. recently and delivered an outstanding performance.

These students competed in seven distinct events—Equations, On-Sets, Linguishtik, Presidents, Propaganda, Theme, and Current Events—competing not only for individual honors but for collective achievement in the coveted Sweepstakes.
Divided into four age groups—Elementary, Middle, Junior, and Senior—teams of five from King, Clague, Huron, and Skyline represented AAPS exceptionally well.
AAPS students claimed eight national titles, including sweeping victories in both the Middle (7th and 8th grade) and Senior (11th and 12th grade) divisions. Beyond these top honors, they earned eight second-place finishes, along with additional placements across third, fourth, and fifth.

Most notably, every AAPS student returned home with at least one medal—a testament to their skills, resilience, teamwork, and commitment to academic excellence.
