Skyline Blues advances to ICHSA semi-finals after quarterfinal win

Catch them live on March 11 as they perform alongside college and high school a cappella groups in a fundraising concert

Skyline High School’s a cappella group, Skyline Blues, is heading to the semi-finals after taking first place at the International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA) Midwest Quarterfinals on February 20. The group will compete at the ICHSA Midwest Semi-Finals on March 13 in Indianapolis.

Before they hit the road, fans can cheer them on and help send them there at a fundraising concert on Tuesday, March 11 at 7 p.m. in the Skyline Auditorium. Skyline Blues will share the stage with a lineup of college and high school a cappella talent, including Capital Green and State of Fifths (Michigan State University), G-Men and The Compulsive Lyres (University of Michigan), The Bronchords (Western Michigan University), Summit Street (Eastern Michigan University), and Company C (Chelsea High School).

Proceeds from the event will go toward competition travel costs, including the upcoming semi-finals, as well as funding the recording of a Skyline Blues album.

Tickets start at $10 and are available at the door or in advance at skylinefriendsofthearts.ludus.com.
