Fourth graders learn to empathize and understand at Disability Awareness Workshop

The Center for Independent Living in Ann Arbor sponsors Disability Awareness Workshops for fourth graders in AAPS each year.  With the help of volunteers from both the CIL and AAPS, the students learn first-hand about challenges by visiting stations that include the Adaptations & Prosthetics & Wheelchair Station; the Learning Disabilities Station; and the Walkers & Mats & Boots Station.
