30 seconds with: Rec & Ed’s Junior Golf Camp

Rec & Ed’s Junior Golf Camp is designed to make young golfers feel comfortable on the course.

Taught by former LPGA tour player Debbie Williams-Hoak and Lincoln High School varsity boys’ golf coach Gabe Crowner, the camps have given dozens of children ages 8 to 15 the chance to get out on an actual golf course and practice driving, chipping and putting.

Two four-day sessions were held at Brookside Golf Course in Saline in June and July, while this week’s camp is at Georgetown Golf Club. In this quick video,  Crowner talks about introducing kids to a sport he hopes they enjoy for a lifetime:
