30 seconds with: Rec & Ed’s Junior Golf Camp

Rec & Ed’s Junior Golf Camp is designed to make young golfers feel comfortable on the course.

Taught by former LPGA tour player Debbie Williams-Hoak and Lincoln High School varsity boys’ golf coach Gabe Crowner, the camps have given dozens of children ages 8 to 15 the chance to get out on an actual golf course and practice driving, chipping and putting.

Two four-day sessions were held at Brookside Golf Course in Saline in June and July, while this week’s camp is at Georgetown Golf Club. In this quick video, ¬†Crowner talks about introducing kids to a sport he hopes they enjoy for a lifetime:
