Video: AAPS students tell why their teachers mean so much to them

For National Teacher Appreciation Week, students offer heartfelt shoutouts—and some honest takes on whether they’d ever want to do the job themselves.

During National Teacher Appreciation Week, AAPS students share heartfelt (and sometimes funny) reflections on the teachers who encourage them, challenge them, and cheer them on.
Their honest answers—even about how hard teaching really is—reveal deep respect for the patience, persistence, and care our teachers bring to their classrooms every day.
When asked if they’d want to become teachers themselves, many didn’t hesitate: it’s a tough job. And that honesty says just as much as the praise.
Behind every answer is an obvious respect for the patience, persistence, and care teachers bring to their classrooms every day.
