Pioneer High crew team does well in weekend Ontario regatta

The Ann Arbor Pioneer Crew team placed first among U.S. schools entered and sixth overall during the prestigious Canadian Secondary Schools Rowing Association Regatta in Ontario over the weekend.

The sport of crew is becoming more popular in established programs at Pioneer and Huron high schools and is also catching on at Skyline, as team members at all schools prepare for May championships that qualify them for national regattas.
