Pioneer Choir students to perform at next week’s MSVMA All-State Festival

The Pioneer Choirs will be well represented at MSVMA All-State Festival at Michigan State University next week!  The following Pioneer Choir students, director Steven Lorenz, and collaborative pianist Seohyun You will be performing at the MSVMA All-State Festival:

  • Thirteen large ensembles, state-wide, were selected to perform at the MSVMA All-State Festival Outstanding Solo & Ensemble Recital, including two from the Pioneer Choirs: A Cappella Choir Sopranos & Altos and A Cappella Choir Tenors & Basses.
  • Sixteen soloists, state-wide, were selected to perform at the MSVMA All-State Festival Outstanding Solo & Ensemble Recital, including soprano Eliana Adler ’24.
  • 20 students, state-wide, were selected to perform in the MSVMA All-State Festival Musical Theatre Ensemble, including tenor Emmanuel Morgan ’25 & soprano Gabby Thompson ’26
  • 80 students, state-wide, were selected to perform in the MSVMA All-State Festival Honors Choir, including Chase Crownover ’25Ainsley Maddock ’25, & Abby Rohrer ’26

The MSVMA All-State Festival is the highest designation in Michigan, recognizing the top soloists, ensembles, and choirs from across the state.
