4th-graders at Abbot do the math, raise money for St. Jude Hospital

Abbot teachers Annette Stojcevich and Cynthia Heusel help 23 of their students raise $720 for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Each participating student was challenged to complete 200 math problems, getting sponsorships from family and friends.

Parenting instruction, child care allows Stone teen parents to continue schooling

Teen parents at Stone High School can continue their education with the help of an on-site child care center. The center takes up to 16 infants and toddlers. Starting second semester, the parents will be required to take a parenting class.
