Pioneer High School’s cross country programs delivered a dominant performance at Thursday’s SEC Red championship meet at Hudson Mills Metropark, with both the men’s and women’s teams sweeping the competition in a seven-school field.
The women’s team showcased exceptional talent, led by sophomore Natasza Dudek, who took first place with a time of 16:47. Dudek, ranked first in the state and among the top 10 runners in the country, continues to establish herself as one of the program’s standout athletes. Sienna Klemmer finished second at 17:59, while Keira Von Blon placed third at 18:30 to round out the Pioneer sweep.

The Skyline women’s team placed second in the event, led by Lucia Lianes (18:53) and Becca Van Lent (18:55). Maribelle Kofahi was first for Huron, crossing the finish line at 18:59.
Head Coach Nancy Boudreau is understandably proud of her team, which is undefeated for the season and hoping for a strong finish at the state finals on Nov. 1.
The Pioneer men’s team was equally impressive, with Kamari Ronfeldt claiming first place at 15:28, followed closely by Beckett Crooks, who finished at 15:28:10. The two runners are ranked one and two in the state.
Pioneer’s men’s team finished first overall, followed by Saline and Skyline. Huron placed sixth in the men’s competition.
