Ann Arbor Open students gave three cheers for reading with the help of the University of Michigan Cheerleading Team.

The team visited Ann Arbor Open on Friday, March 21 to show students a few cheers, talk about why reading is fun and important, and to read along with students in the school’s media center.

“It’s great giving back to the community and playing with little kids,” said Hayley Glauben, a senior cheerleader studying Spanish and physical therapy. “It was so much fun. They’re really energetic and exciting. And their love for reading, especially during March Reading Month, is great.”
