Everyone’s favorite thrift-shop-that-donates-its-profits-to-AAPS is having a sale to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
The date is Monday, Jan. 20, and everything at the Ann Arbor PTO Thrift Shop will be 20 percent off.
The sale is kicking off 2014 in hopes of another successful year. In 2013, the shop donated over $297,000 to AAPS and its PTOs for enrichment activities, transportation, field trips and more.
The Ann Arbor PTO Thrift Shop is located at 2280 S. Industrial Hwy. The nonprofit distributes checks to PTOs, student groups and clubs three times a year. It has also made large donations to the district’s transportation fund, and in 2012 it earned a “Deal of the Year” award.

I have several bags of clothing to donate and was wondering if the thrift store accepts clothing donations?
Hello Keith,
Yes, the thrift shop accepts clothing donations. You can find the hours the shop accepts donations on its website: http://a2ptothriftshop.org/
