The youth organizers of TEDxYouth@AnnArbor have announced the date for the 2019 citywide showcase for youth voice in Ann Arbor. The TEDxYouth@AnnArbor event will be held on Saturday, April 13 at Skyline High School from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The theme for the 2019 event is: “ConnecTED.”
TEDxYouth@AnnArbor is an all-day conference of live TED-style talks and performances by high school students with an audience of business, government and education leaders, adults and students from all over Ann Arbor
The core student organizers are from across Ann Arbor high schools: Greenhills, Huron, Pioneer, Skyline, Michigan Islamic Academy, and Washtenaw International High School.
The TEDxYouth@AnnArbor event focuses primarily on youth ideas, experiences, and passions because the organizers believe that today’s youth will be the leaders of tomorrow and that their voice will not only contribute to meaningful change in Ann Arbor, but in society at large.
Talks will address a variety range of topics from Native American youth in STEM fields, to Generation Z, to the Tunisian Revolution. The organizing committee invites everyone to come and witness the power of youth voice and discover how connecTED society truly is.

Ticket prices:
Student admission: $5 ($7 with purchase of raffle ticket)
Adult admission is $10 ($13 with purchase of raffle ticket)
Family admission is $30 ($33 with purchase of raffle ticket)
