Kindergarten round-ups happening now

This year’s kindergarten round-ups are more kid-centered, teaching parents and future students about the kindergarten experience.

AAPS offers many kindergarten options, including half-day, extended day and full-day (please see note below). The district also offers before and after care, Young Fives at Abbot Elementary, and preschool options.

If you have questions about your child’s school, please call 994-2200 or click here.

*Note about full-day kindergarten: The AAPS district is investigating the impact of implementing all-day kindergarten in all elementary schools for the 2012-2013 school year. In addition to examining school building space and program costs, we must also consider the impact on our large and diverse community. We will relay information to parents as soon as it is available. Please be sure to share your email and telephone information with your school when you attend kindergarten round-up so that direct communication can be made later. Information will also be posted on our website.
