Hands on science takes center stage at AAPS STEAM Expo

Robots, hands on science demonstrations, and much more filled Skyline High School’s Commons last night at the Ann Arbor Public Schools Young 5s through 12 grade STEAM Expo. The event included displays from 25 schools and many community partners including the University of Michigan, the Ann Arbor District Library, the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum and more. The annual event provides a chance for young students to see and learn from the work older students in AAPS are doing. Additionally the older students get a chance to ask younger students questions about what they are learning and encourage them to continue to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.
