A2 STEAM at Northside opened their doors, or rather the school grounds on Wednesday night to welcome students, families and staff to the 2014-2015 school year!!
Hundreds of families attended the BBQ sponsored by the school and PTO to welcome everyone to the new, innovative STEAM program at Northside!
“Last night was filled with such excitement and enthusiasm,” said STEAM Principal Joan Fitzgibbon. “The families were so unbelievably thrilled to meet the staff and each other. Everyone was incredibly excited about this new program. I cannot tell you the number of parents who were so energized by STEAM and commented on the overall feeling of Team that is a very important component of STEAM.”
Class lists were available and new friends were made at this wonderful evening event!
Next up is a ribbon cutting to unveil the new project-based STEAM education program as well as host tours of the renovated school on Friday, September 5 at 5:30pm! The entire community is invited to join in this celebration!
