Eight Huron students complete study exchange program in Germany

Eight Huron students completed the three-week study-exchange program with Huron’s partner school in Ann Arbor’s German sister city, Tübingen.

Students and teachers from Pioneer and Skyline High Schools went also.

Kevin Barnes, Reid Arozarena, Felipe Riano-Mojica, Erin Smith, Meghan Meader, Maura Sands, Sarah Jahnke, and Gabriela Dantas stayed in the homes of German families, attended classes in a German high school and explored culture.

Funded in part by grants from the U.S. government, the German government, and private corporations, Huron’s study-exchange has been taking place every other summer for several decades. Huron plans to send more students in 2014.
