The China Central Television Network television program Colorful Planet toured Skyline High School to share with Chinese families a slice of what it’s like in American schools.  The program is promoting cultural and educational bridges between the United States and China.  14-year-old Kristofer Niepert interviewed several Skyline students in Chinese.  Niepert is a celebrity in China, where he has appeared on hundreds of television shows singing, dancing, and hosting.  They also recorded footage of choir and orchestra classes in action, and visited several classrooms. The production team also interviewed Superintendent Dr. Jeanice Swift, who discussed the value to AAPS to have international students study in Ann Arbor.
