Ecology Club members from Community High School are partnering with the Allen Creek Greenway Conservancy on a project to bring green space to Ann Arbor. The club also is working for green school certification.

Registration begins in January for winter semester of English as a Second Language program in The Ann Arbor Public Schools. Many cultures and languages are represented in the program.

Hearing Dec. 16 for proposed election date change

The Ann Arbor Board of Education has scheduled a public hearing on the topic of whether to change the date of the school district election from May to November in order to save costs.

Community rallies for building scholarship money

In Ann Arbor, outdoors becomes classroom for kids

In addition to their traditional classrooms, elementary school students in Ann Arbor get a peek at the outdoors as part of their lessons. The Environmental Education program has been in place since 1959.
