AAPS Grads Go for Gold at Sochi

The Ann Arbor Public Schools is renowned for its exceptional athletics, and now some of our graduates are going for gold.

The following athletes are competing in the 2014 Winter Olympics at Sochi, which begin Feb. 7.

Hockey:

  • Patrick Kane, Huron High School, plays for the Chicago Blackhawks
  • Phil Kessel, Pioneer High School, Toronto Maple Leafs
  • James van Riemsdyk, Pioneer, Toronto Maple Leafs,
  • Justin Faulk, Pioneer, Carolina Hurricanes
  • Cam Fowler, Pioneer, Anaheim Ducks
  • Kevin Shattenkirk, Huron, St. Louis Blues
  • Ryan Suter, Huron, Minnesota Wild
  • Jimmy Howard, Pioneer, Detroit Red Wings
