If you want to see a tight-knit community, just look at Carpenter Elementary. At the school’s 175th anniversary celebration on April 26, students, staff and visitors sang together. They danced together. They marched together to the beat of the Huron High School drum line.It was a community joyously in sync.

The Ann Arbor Publics Schools’ K-12 Art Exhibition will be at the Ann Arbor District Library downtown location ( 343 S. Fifth Ave.) from April 18 to May 29. An opening reception will be held May 2 from 6-8 p.m.
